DnD isn't a money sink with tryhards, but MtG you can play without tons of scheduling. I like them both but no longer play MtG.
I play both. Magic is competitive for me, while D&D is cooperative and creative. Also D&D can be run really low-frills, so the cost of both is rarely an issue.

Magic kills its own playability by constantly succumbing to power creep, forcing players to either drop cash every month, or fall behind.
D&D just keeps failing to prevent itself from being overshadowed. It's not the best system for any level of skill, experience, money, or interest.

I disagree. Pathfinder has a huge problem with number bloat and class balance is hugely weighted with spellcasters in mind.
So far I have enjoyed fifth edition D&D wholeheartedly for how much looser the rules are.

But there are other ways to get a response out of someone.

You adjust her clothes before hitching her up, letting you touch your lips to the soft scales behind her frill before hiding her head back under the blankets. Pathfinder is a worse version of 3.5 that ports everything that was bad about 3.5 and then commits new sins. It didn't fix the skill system. It didn't fix WBL or the CR system. It didn't fix the power level disparity between class tiers.
And, its gone on to be even more splat heavy than 3e ever was. I'm glad you like having 1,000 choices, but only about 25 of them are "optimal" choices, and you might as well not have the other 975.
I honestly don't care what you play anon. It's fine that you like it and have fun. But don't act like Pathfinder is somehow superior because it was a fork of badly designed system and filled the need for 3.5 fags who didn't want 4e.
And I'm saying that as a 3.5 fag who didn't want 4e.
