In the original myths, Satyrs were all male. You weren't born a Satyr, you were turned into one by Pan or Dionysus as a reward for your service to those two wild gods. The offspring of a Satyr and a Human Woman in the myths was usually still human.
Now if your mother was a human woman and your father happened to be the god Pan himself you would instead be a Panes, which was very similiar.
