It works differently in different countries because they all each have their own laws (and I should check mine), but for the most part drawn lolis seem to be forbidden content across western sites. They are not to be uploaded in 4chan, e-hentai, hentai-foundry, etc. Works get deleted, accounts are banned, etc.

Not by much, but yeah. There's a short tron segment with some real basic CG customization. Seems more like practice than anything else. I hope he keeps this up, doing little segments in MS to practice concepts he'll apply in larger games later on down the road.
Of course, I hope by then he's also got a team to work with too so it doesn't take a year and a half to release a game.

Well I take it back kind of. Just calculate how much money a player can make in any given day, or whatever. Then based on that make an educated guess as to how you can avoid grind. If there's a time limit on how quickly the player needs to get a certain amount of cash don't force the player to be perfect. And for fucks sake, keep the numbers small enough to avoid grind. Realism is a fucking dumb idea when it comes to games. If something is supposed to take a month in real life, abstract it down to two or three days, tops.

Plus it's not even about hard time-limits. You should have a basic understanding of the pacing of your game if you aren't a complete fuckwit. WT is tedious not becuause of the reading, and the writing the letters, and the waiting for Hermione not to be mad, but because they were fucking imbalanced. I'm not really very proud of this week's release. I lost most of my dev time this week to a bout of food poisoning(from which I have not quite recovered), leaving me scrambling to get through my schedule. Since the Item Shop won the poll last week, I made the decision to focus what little time I had on that.
In regard to the item shop, I made more than a few missteps while implementing the framework and creating assets for the inventory and shop. I had wanted to create a visual inventory in the player's desk so that they could simply select items from a pile, but that proved to be a significant amount of work for little payout(I'll likely revisit this idea after I've learned enough about imagebuttons), and I wanted to implement actual images in the item preview at the shop, but ran out of time. Ren'Py's poor documentation means implementing new mechanics requires a significant time investment learning the nuances of the language, searching databases and forums, and plain old trial and error.

This week there's no poll. I really want to finish the inventory/store and fix at least some of the persistent bugs before I move on. Don't worry, though, next week it's back to business as usual.
There are a few things I'm not happy with about this build. It's starting to really feel like the more I add the greater the emphasis on the grind becomes. I'd like to find a better way to generate credits than delivering mail. Writing letters was always such a pain in the ass in WT and it's even worse in BB since there's more to click through. Help me out with this one guys. Let me know if you've got any interesting non-grindy solutions.

Adding multiple characters is essentially a form of feature creep, and one of the reasons why development on so many of these games slows to a crawl. Adding just one character essentially doubles the amount of work since you've got to create all new assets and write entire new scenes. You could easily(relative to the alternative) just keep the same body and alter the hair, face, and clothes on top of it, and make quick edits of the first character's favors/content, but that gets very boring very quickly and satisfies no one in the long run. These games take a lot of work to produce and early on you've got to have a clear idea of just what you're making, as well as the ultimate limitations of your project.
If Bitch Breaker is a success, I may make a significantly improved sequel with a new turbo-bitch though.

Yes with some caveats. The engine it's made with is Ren'Py, a basic visual novel engine which is fantastic for beginners, and the game itself was obviously inspired by Aabur's trainer games, which I hold in high regard. Doubly so after having worked on my own game.
