>At night I can still hear the screams of the fashion victims
Anyone else feel like Oglaf has lost its way?
Update.
>My sunday outfit has a stained glass boob window.

I feel that the nudity comedy pretty much sucks compared to the fully clothed humor. I wonder why that is? The best jokes aren't even about sex, remember that fox that would fuck people over? That was good shit.
It's still fun, but I'm sad the story of the Apprentice seems to have been totally abandoned. I don't know why that was dropped, it was great.
Yes. I still look forward to each update but it's nowhere near as funny as it used to be and its not even very good for fapping material either anymore.
>>570826
He was killed then it turned out they weren't actually going anywhere with that. So now it's just random jokes with no continuity.
Every now and then you get a return character but it just serves to remind you how funny and sexy the strips that character was in USED to be.
>>570826
Agreed. I didn't even care if it was working towards any conclusion or not, it was funny and having persistent characters made it a lot more enjoyable. Now it's funny...ish. But there's only so much humor to be had in one-off throwaway jokes.
I, on the other hand, wish some of the better nudity ones he's done were fleshed out into actual porn comics.
>>570851
>he's
>>570972
What, has Doug come out as trans or something?
>>570829
There was one strip where the king of blowjobs and the curse spectre kind of meet up again and that was cool. I miss vampire lady and the apprentice though
>>570796
I had to reread this three times to get what's going on, but it was worth it.
>>570796
No. Oglaf has always been very hit-or-miss and the sex/nude jokes have always generally been not as good as the straight up puns.
If anything I'd say it's been the most consistent webcomic for years.
>>571036
Might be referring to Trudy the illustrator who's a women.
My favorite. Good and funny because of the situation, not specifically the sex or nudity.
>>571697
HA! that was hilarious, it felt like I was reading something as Fables or Jack Adventures, but a even more funny version
>>571697

I miss The Apprentice and feel like he was written out too early. Also the pointy toothed girl.
>>570827
i don't think it ever was good for fapping. it was just funny, now it's just so so
>>570796
It peaked with fountain of doubt, which is the second in the archive? So downhill from there.
>>571697
Is also good
It's impossible for anything to be consistently funny. I think it's still funny enough often enough to be worth reading.
>>570798
Dat beholder.
Yeah, I really do wish they would go back to Apperentince. Like the Teacher lady decides to revive him and actually teach him magic because someone said she couldn't do it. And he actually turns out to be good at it.
This reminds me, I should go through and save all the Oglaf strips. So many great ones, and yet now the strip is kind of wandering in a plotless wilderness, the next step could be it disappears.
Wish I knew why they dropped the Apprentice thread. Ran out of ideas? It seems hard to believe. If there were contact details for the pair that write & draw Oglaf, I'm sure readers could contribute plenty of thoughts.
Was reading through some of it again last night and I hadn't realized just how far it had strayed from having continued story lines.
The last year or so its just been single stand alone strips but a while back they had a story that would go on for months and it was awesome.
I really miss that.
>>571295
being funny every damn week is a lot harder than you might think.
If it wasn't for the porn, Ooglaf wouldn't have the same prestige
>>570801
That fox was fucking awesome.
>>577472
>>577473
>>570801
Yeah. Evil Detecting Dog was a good one too.
My fave
>>570796
Are you implying oglaf isn't funny anymore or making a kill la kill reference because of all the clothing jokes?
>>570829
I think he is still technically alive, but the writers wrote themselves into a corner with that plotline as it looks like if they continue it, the plotline will immediately end.
>>577473
>the tears in his eyes
Always gets me
>>570796
kinda. the funny ones are becoming more and more rare.
I don't blame'em, they've done some really good shit at the time.

Maybe. The Raiment is one of many dumb decisions that have been made in Monster Manuals, you can't keep them all straight.

your kind are a blight upon the land.

Being provided for free doesn't mean you can't criticize it, just that you'll come off as a prick if your criticisms are based on what you feel entitled to instead of genuine critique.

It helps that that's one of my favorite pussies in the entire archive.
>>579249
I'll b honest, this is the one joke I still don't actually get.
>>596305
I'm quite sure that the absurdity of it is a joke in itself.
