Dave himself did a Q&A on the last thread, and basically, the guro stuff was done on commission, but as it turns out, doing niche fetish stuff doesn't exactly bring in a lot of money, plus it kinda soured people's opinion of his work. Broken Hilt Inn is essentially just him doing what he wants to for a change.

Also, here's something from the old Vanilla-Cookies idea that I've never heard of ever again...
In fact, I plan to convince Dave to return to the AC universe, and to even earn money from that. There is a thread in Gurochan about his work too (https://www.gurochan.ch/g/res/302.html) where I share my updates about a large game I am designing within the AC universe. I was hesitant to post it here, because it is not yet finished (I mentioned how large it is?) and I don't want to end up in a game design graveyard (such as several in the game design here).
The game will be finished, and I will release it when it is ready©. However, I am leaving several cool stuff for the second version, and that's where a Patreon (or something similar) will come in: with the revenue generated from all the interested people (and given Dave's incredible skills, I presume there will be many) I will commission Dave to create the much needed art assets for the game (because I can do so much with the stuff already available) and then *more*.
I don't want to hijack this thread (this is about Dave's art) but if you're interested, I can show you a bit more. :)

I vaguely recall you asking about this on forums years and years ago. I would ask that you make it clear it's a *fan* game and not anything official.
It would also be preferable if you didn't use my existing work as assets and instead created your own (of course, doesn't apply to placeholders).
As I think I said at the time, I have no problem with anybody making any fan works they desire. Using my own stuff in it kinda goes beyond that though, probably.
I hope you don't feel this is too much of a kick in the nuts, but I think it's entirely reasonable.

I find every one of your comments quite reasonable: just bear with it for the shortest time as I finish the game. In fact, I can send the beta to you as soon it is finished so you can review it and decide if you believe it would be good and interesting enough for you (that way, your assets won't be freely published until you decide it is fine enough to do so).
A patreon (or similar) would then be used to generate revenue for you to create new works to be exclusively used on the game. If everything goes well, I presume it would be a fairly steady source of income and an excellent way to promote your work, and perhaps it would allow you to free yourself of some time :)
And yes, it is heavily marked that this is a fan game based on your universe and themes; it is precisely of fan-ness that I want to do this, as you created a very engaging and rich universe!

Please learn how to draw different faces and expressions. I mean this in the nicest way I can. Besides the bodies, everyone looks exactly the same except their hair and everything is very lifeless. That second pic of her touching her glasses is a good example. It has expression and personality. Most of what else you draw is completely void of it and it makes them look like realdolls.

I don't know if the artist still comes in these threads, or whether he'd listen to one anon, but I have a bit of a critique on these pages.
The cum is well drawn. Like, really well drawn, it reminds me of Incase stuff. It could probably be better placed to show pooling/the contours of her body, but beyond that, top-tier stuff. The problem is that when combined with the relatively flat shading/coloring of the rest of the picture, it kind of looks like you just drew the scene, then jizzed on the drawing, then took a picture of that. The two different styles (I'd say the difference in reflectiveness is the main culprit) separates the two, makes it feel less like one unified drawing and more like two layers.
So, is Broken Hilt Inn going to have an overarching plot, or is it mostly designed as a fantasy setting in which to have characters fuck?
