If you honestly are a good writer, just make something like CtP or so, text only stuff. If it's good and you manage to finish it, you actually have a chance of getting someone to work with you.

Then make something you can make with your skills first. To have something done is pretty much the only way to attract people to work with you, unless you are willing to pay.
It doesn't have to be a huge project, just show what you can do writing/idea-wise.
Or draft up a proper design document at least so people would know what you want them to do. If someone likes the idea he might jump on that project, although it is less likely than if you'd have something done already.
There is so many dropped projects already and nobody wants to waste time on somebody else's project just to see that guy vanish and the project never finished. Show them you can finish something. That's the most valuable skill here.

go to the renpy website and follow their quickstart, you'll see how easy it is to make a basic story of , girl turns up, you talk to them, ask them to be a whore, they agree
then you can start adding options, and extending the dialog
then if you need advice on adding inventory or hotspots or something, we can either help or show you where a tutorial is

I actually made this last year, trying to figure out the program Spriter on steam. Since the program is good for making sprites for video games. I'm not that big into the program but was nice test to see how it works. Images of a cartoon version of my girlfriend. So I found this old pic from a game I was making from a HD that was lost.
Anyways, Im wanna some opinions on style of games, would you prefer a game with that RPGmaker look even if it means more content like CG, or does total style matter, like the image, where its 2D side view?
Im asking because making it all 2D is do-able but takes more time and needs to be done from the beginning for planing. It also increases ALL work since instead of using the built in RPGmaker assets, or even adding custom style assets in the same style. it would all have to be made from scratch, BG's, sprites, etc...
Basically what Im asking is what matters more, more content at a quicker rate, or total aesthetic style that unique from other games of the same engine?

Depends on what you're trying to make. An RPG or adventure game can get by on just RPGMaker, it's not the best, but it works, but a visual novel, for instance, needs aesthetic.

I think he completely scrapped Injustice because he didn't want to continue with it. He could easily fix the issues with copyright bullshit but instead he is just dropping months of effort. Clearly he did not want very much to do with the project and would much rather start over.

Obviously fixing it wouldn't be "easy", but it would be ridiculously easy comparatively when you consider just scrapping it all and making an entirely new project. Why would he scrap everything if he had any interest at all in the game he was working on? For all we know he had fucking bogged everything up and wanted to be done with it and have a fresh start with more experience.

Yeah, he could spend time "fixing it," and from the sounds of it, he actually intends to, but chances are nothing he did could get that game back onto Patreon, so the revenue stream would be dead, and he'd always be walking this fine line of "is it close enough to the original to please fans" and "is it far enough from the original to avoid WB?"
Once he got on their radar, it became more hassle than it was worth. He had every reason to quit production on it, so all this nonsense about "well, he wanted to drop it anyway" is just sour grapes. If he'd wanted to drop it, he just would have dropped it, he's dropped projects before. He wouldn't have some elaborate ruse, he'd just have said "I'm dropping this one, don't fucking care what you think about that."
