AFF is trash
Best bet is AO3. Tweaking the searches is a little weak and there's not much by way of boolean search operators. The site's been in beta for seven fucking years but it's pretty solid. It's run by a non-profit organization and is almost all volunteer run and staffed. It really is a labor of love.
You can request an invite and get it in like a day, but I got no problem sending invites out. The site's grown exponentially since I first discovered it three years ago.

Not that guy, but AFF has an even worse search engine, non-existent content tagging, and I think they lost/deleted a bunch of stories that were on there. What's this about? My awareness of erotic lit/fapfic sites is pretty small, since decent ones are so hard to find.
As a webdeveloper, seeing all these fapfic sites with garbage functionality and aniquated architecture makes me want to write a story arciving site myself, just to prove it can be done much better.

Hentai Foundry, which already had a pretty small community of writers since it was a mostly art site, went through a purge of all material containing depictions of characters under the age of 18. Some dickbag complained about the material and threatened to report the site for hosting child pornography and rather than have the whole site shutdown the admin decided to just do without underage characters. Kind of sucks since a lot of my work got burnt in the process but I found AFF very accommodating and the community seems mostly pleasant.

ASSTR has like 13 different search options, some (like the tag search) very awkward to use, to do what any booru essentially does with a single input field and a simple clickable list. And then, just to be extra cumbersome, it displays the search result by the name of the txt file instead of by title or short description.
In the end I'm just complaining out loud though. It's just that I probably see such flaws, and how they could be done better and more efficient, better than most people because I do that shit for a living. >>44140 Call it professional deformation.

There are not enough people who are both helpful and interested in the kind of story that you're writing for you to get a timely response. I'm always willing to help with ideas and feedback, but could not be less interested in that genre and don't really have much to add as a result. It's hard to define. I guess that you could say that it ends up being rather trashy. I'm fine with mindbreak, but generally dislike public use and gangbangs. Making the subject an entire black neighborhood really only adds unwanted connotations. Pretty much no kinks bother me, but the overall tone of the story can. I prefer my smut to be relatively light-hearted.

I'm totally the opposite myself, as you may have guessed, though I understand where you're coming from.
In truth, I was hoping to try and put something of a spin on the all the usual stereotypical tropes associated with this kind of story (I'm not much of a fan of the "unwanted connotations" either) but I wanted to try and get the reason for her ending up like this down first. Hence why I wanted it to be willing on her part, and I don't mean with Stockholm syndrome or something similar, it'd give me more room to work with when it came to try to subvert the usual themes of this kind of story.

Actually, if you're trying to entirely subvert the genre, I do have a suggestion. What if she was an orphan or problem child taken in by that neighborhood? You could play up a strange "she's like a daughter but hot damn" vibe. It can be kinda sweet, rather awkward, and really smutty all at once without turning into Another Black Gangbang Porno Opus 67 Number 8.
