I don't know. I really prefer the look of the original Core and Legend to Underworld CD Lara. Even the original Lara from the first 2013 reboot (not the Definitive Edition) is better than what I've seen of the her latest incarnation.
It might just be a case of not knowing what you have until it's gone, but I miss the older Lara along with the series itself shifting majorly in tone, theme and style.
I get they wanted to humanize her and draw back on the outlandish nature of both her and the games, but it feels too much like a played-straight deconstruction with no buildup to a potential reconstruction down the line.

I think it has something to do with Lara being a relatively mortal human being in comparison to the other titans that get 34'd like Samus or Bayonetta and without her clothes she's not all that distinctive from your regular generic busty brunette.
