The original joke was the Turok cheats (ala the menu music and the sound effects), but I knew people would bitch about having to remember nonsensical garble, so I compromised to just give each egg multiple triggers - a Turok cheat and then 1 or more actual words.

There are tons of artists who get really proficient with mouse drawing, though. If you're really truly used to using pen on paper and you think it would be a better option to do, then by all means, but try not to blame things on drawing with a mouse. I should probably start by saying some shit to warn you about my tendencies and talk about my history. I've been drawing for years and shortstack specifically for like...6 years? I was one of the OPs who first went around making threads for shortstack. I called them teapots though (short and stout) and had some really good results posting them on /h/ (mostly Zankuro and some other Japanese guys).
As an artist I'm really finicky. So try not to expect a lot out of me. I had a thing going for awhile and then just up and stopped drawing for around a year. Then, about 8 months ago, decided my art needed a massive upheaval because I wanted to get good. Then I lost my job and my health turned to absolute shit, now I'm unemployed and all but crippled. So I really don't have an excuse not to draw anymore, but every time I sit down and try to I turn into a ball of nerves. I feel like the year I took off combined with my trying to get better at general art led to me losing any and all of my abilities with dynamic posing and even though I tried to get better, I feel like the majority of my technical drawing has gotten sort of worse.
What I'm trying to say is "I'm a terrible artist who's constantly unhappy". I'm just stretching it out really far. But I thank you guys for having me if I decide to become a permanent art fixture.

Teapot was originally just a different word for shortstacks ("I'm a little teapot, short and stout") but I'll be all for bringing it back to describe male shortstacks ("here is my handle, here is my 'spout'"). That being said, at some point when these threads were still on /d/ we called boy shortstacks "shortsticks", but I never really cared for that. It sounds more like an insult than anything. If we could call them something similar to shortstacks that isn't shortsticks, I feel like that would be ideal. Flap Jacks or waffles or something, maybe. Kind of wished we stuck with teapots, we might've been able to pull off a pot and a kettle motif.
