We had a thread about this before, and I said it there, but Angel Corps should not have been guro. Dave said that the point of Angel Corp was to make money, and guro is an extremely niche fetish that has it's fans, but not nearly enough to really profit off of in the long term. What Angel Corps should have been is essentially Aco/D, the Webcomic; a totally spies wannabe sex comic unrestricted by censorship. It's a shame, I loved his Guro, and his Angel Corps stuff was so passionately brutal.
I liked to pretend that the girls were all sort of part of this clone squad, that were sent on impossibly dangerous missions that nearly always guaranteed death, but their consciousnesses could be digitally saved and uploaded to new bodies. All the memories of death erased but all the techniques and counters built in after reload and reload.
It's why Princess could do >>333027 and she was surprised by it; this is after she's died and been reborn about 20 times. Maybe something about they only use teens because the female body can forget violent trauma more easily (childbirth pain and stuff), the company scrapping or continuing the models that not just show promise but are sexually appealing to the guys running the system. That relationship with the one assassin could be him dealing with her coming back again and again, not remembering him, but falling in love over and over, or dying and fighting.
The one problem I have with guro is that the porn hasn't got a chance to explore interesting narratives like other fetishes does, and that sort of Angel Corps could really be cool. How the scientists fudge in little tweaks to make themselves happy as they salvage the girls, the life of being an owned assassin of the government and slowly realizing it through multiple deaths and rebirths. Maybe even a girl who starts remembering all the deaths, and how she responds to how she's been used.
Imagine guro porn meets 50 First Dates meets Moon meets Mission Impossible. I think there's some real fun to be had with something like that than a bunch of ALT VERSE vignettes.

On the subject of resolution, I just sort of got into the habit of the 550px width stuff from back when I had to work on a 1440x900 monitor. I'll probably end up defaulting to higher resolutions at some point in the future.
As for being slow, bear in mind that the Vanilla Cookies stuff is almost exclusively "stuff I draw in my free time because I want to" stuff. It's entirely subsidised by my Patreon income. The lion's share of my drawing time is spent on making a living, I'm afraid.

It's not really feasible to bring it back with a new genre. The internet is eternal, so you'd get a lot of instances of people who can't stand guro getting it all mixed up with the old stuff, at best confusing them greatly and in a WORST CASE SCENARIO boner killing their fap experience.

I originally intended to. In fact, a Sammie comic was one of the initial ideas I had floating around for Vanilla Cookies.
The concept sheet I did for it, as well as an early attempt at a page has already been posted in this thread. The idea was to have her as a normal girl shopping for swimsuits with her friend (who is pointing out the super skimpy one seen) and subsequently daydreaming about getting fucked by a handsome surfer dood while wearing it in the changing rooms.
The problem with bringing Sammie out of retirement is that Bethany is an evolution of the Princess concept to the extent that she is quite heavily based on her. This means, obviously, that the two are quite similar in a lot of ways (although Beth is THICKER). My concern is that they might be too alike to use together, although I might change my mind on that eventually as Sammie is still one of my favourite characters.

Ok friends, story time!
Pretty much every guro thing you've ever seen from me pre-Angel Corps were commissions for ONE single guy. He's since vanished, but he was an extremely prolific customer.
Angel Corps itself started as a single commission (Chemical Plant comic) from a (different) single guy. Posting of the unfinished stuff resulted in a LOT more interest than I expected and we both agreed it might be worth having a go attempting some mild monetisation of it (he got back a percentage of what I made from Chemical Plant).
So, everything initially went a lot better than expected. I was very careful to make sure the payment system I used was "porn-friendly". Chemical Plant itself made me the commission fee for 24 full colour pages (quite substantial) as well as significantly more from the physical goodies auction / high-res version sales. So yes, that first foray was actually VERY successful from a financial perspective.

As it turned out though, "porn-friendly" payment system didn't equal "guro-friendly". Only way around it would have been via dishonest means (fake sites, redirects etc), which I wasn't willing to get into.
Sadly, I was already over half into making the second episode when this happened (this time via commissions from three different people rather than just the one).
So why didn't I just kill it off there and then? Two reasons. Firstly, even without the additional monetisation, it was still bringing in quite a bit of commission business. Secondly, a surprisingly active (and creative) community had sprung up around it and I felt bad dicking them.

What I enjoy is making new characters (I really went overboard with Angel Corps, there were far too many) and cute/goofy/romantic consensual sex scenarios. I actually have very little knowledge of the "scene". I browse /e/ quite often, but I'd struggle to name any artists.
On a more general level, I'm envious of artists who can draw those smooth, sweeping lines that look like they didn't even have to fucking try. I spent the summer staying with Dan Kim about a decade ago, and that lad just sits down and craps out great looking stuff with seemingly zero effort. It's sickening.

Without the Texas cowgirl thing going on, there isn't really much to her, which makes it hard to use her in something else.
