First, Persons was just the cuck that commissioned 'the Pit' to draw them. Second, 'the Pit's' style is pretty awful. He doesn't begin to understand how butts work, for exmple. Third, if you ran out of steam on your Helen Parr model, why are you jumping to this? Wasn't that Parr model essentially "bimbo" enough?
I want to see you finish some stuff, you've got enough skill to work through your issues if you keep on target. Switching inspirations/styles constantly isn't going to help you improve as an artist.

Because, as an artist in training who hasn't even begun to touch anatomy, I was under the impression that to exaggerate as the Pit does, you needed to have a good grasp of it. Oh, you can certainly exaggerate the anatomy of the ass to great extent and I'm 100% on board. High test and all that. But yes, you should know how butts work before trying to do so.
But let's examine the anatomy real quick. You have 3 "butt muscles" that make up the muscular shape of the ass, and you have a deposit of fat that hangs toward the bottom of it. Now, the fatter a person is, the more ass they have, and eventually, all the gluteus muscles are going to be covered up by fat.
What doesn't happen, without ridiculous prosthetics, is what's going on here: >>331177 where the ass exists as some magical bubble formed in the general posterior area. This isn't even a "fake ass," this is an artistic guess made by someone that can't be bothered to find a reference of "large ass" on google.
Pit's errors occur most often when he's drawing a character in 90 degree profile where he basically just draws a circle for the butt and walks away.
Knowing where the sacrum is, knowing where the gluts are, knowing where the iliotibial band is, knowing where the fat deposits are and how much fat you want to place on your character, these items are how you define the borders and shape of a butt. It's not just a circle that you walk away from, it's a soft round shape that is "circular" but has a definite non-primitive shape.
Cartoons are cartoons, he could draw asses as perfect circles and faces as perfect circles too and plenty of people would continue to enjoy his work. But it's off anatomically and someone like OP trying to make a matching 3d model are going to be fucked hard trying to match impossible/overstylized shapes and proportions.

I see what you mean, but it sounds like it's just his artistic preference. Art sends a message, tells a story, and as Steve Huston said it's better to make something too long rather than too short, make it look more like the thing than the actual thing, according to Vilppu. Besides, he wouldn't be the first artist to do this, obvious, Rubens got away with some rather abysmall stuff in regards to female anatomy and many artists heavily exaggerated musculature, if othing else to serve a purpose, that the figures were powerful, in moments of action and immense strength.
ThePit's stuf in comparison lacks that, but the message is definitely these are hyper feminine well-endowed women with cartoony proportions. But you are right, to try to emulate this into 3d would be a hard sell. I realize I could have just said that but.... OP might be better off using a Legoman body type or some sort of mix. I wouldn't complain.

I know ThePit is shooting for a particular niche audience which i'm not a part of, but i think if he made slight changes to his characters he could cast a wider net and appeal to alot more people. Firstly the faces are just too fucking plastic looking in an anatomical way. The lips are retarded big...18 year old white chicks just don't have lips that big. The jaws are too square with the chins too pronounced. It makes the characters look mannish if not for the balloon lips.
Secondly, the asses are too much. He's trying to portray the "brazilian buttlift" shit that the kartrashians and lots of instagram sluts have had done. Look at Blac Chyna...that is a monster sized brazilian buttlift...it's so much it literally hangs off her backside like 2 huge tumors. This type of ass isn't appealing to most people. The characters can still have big asses but if they were more natural looking similar to Legoman it would look alot better.
As for the tits i don't have much complaint...he seems to do them well enough and fake tits are fake tits, but he seems to draw more natural looking ones also.

Depends on the model. Is the character some MILFy plump housewife that doesn't do a lot of work? Is she chubby in the best places (ass, thighs, bit of pudge at the belly)? Or is she very active and does she exercise frequently, in which case the toned physique is expected.
In regards to mixing the styles, the Pit is always on the latter, while LM dabbled in the former. In the end this is OP's bag, his project, so the way he'll style the body is up to him, it'll be his original work inspired by others, as all art is.
Legoman's girls are very voluptuous, hourglass figures with thick thighs and asses, and thick all around. The Pit's in contrast are lithe and stacked, which reads well but doesn't make much sense unless they won the genetic lottery. Since the chick is going to be a MILF she should be pretty thick, or at least not gymnast/swimmer thin, but that's just my opinion.

Tried to fix the face so that it looked less like a tranny and more like an actual woman. This is what he needs to fix the most. The body i can accept somewhat but the faces have too many sharp angles and edges that are more associated with men than women.

I could never put my finger on why ThePit's art turned me off so much before. It always had a "plastic surgery gone wrong look," but the effect was much stronger than that.
Now it's crystal clear, the strong cheekbones, chiseled jawlines, the overinjected fishlips, spherical balloon like tits and asses; these aren't women, they're MtF trannies.
Now that I see it, I'm shocked no one has shopped penises onto all his characters, particularly how popular futa/dickgirls/trannies are on aco and 4chan in general. They'd look much more appropriate and probably have a huge following here.
