In fact, I had started to write out a "bimbo rating" algorithm. It'd assign a score based on a few factors; how much cleavage, underboob, ass cheeks, pussy, or nipples showed, how far past DD her boobs were, hip/waist ratio... distance from a "healthy" weight... then I ran into more subjective things. Should pregnancy impact the WHR? Should a bimbo prefer that a guy cum on her face, or in her mouth? Should she try to make him cum as much as possible, or get him to make HER cum as much as possible?
Then I considered applications of the algorithm. Are people actually going to open up a little web app or bookmarklet to calculate how much of a bimbo some girl in a pic was and whether or not it should be uploaded to whatever site? Probably not. It might have applications for girls into the fetish IRL trying to compare themselves to porn stars, but the algorithm would apply to only single girls; the others should be doing whatever their boyfriends ask. And single bimbos likely would not stay single for long. So there goes all the use cases.
Essentially, if you're actually serious about standards (I literally wrote unit tests for RFC4180 and RFC3339 at work today. As far as standards go, I'm serious as a heart attack) then you'll understand that a bimbo standard is just not worthwhile. Well, yeah pretty much. Characters like Orihime or Usagi. They may not be sex obsessed or fashion flirty cocksucking tramps but the archetype and personality is the same.
I'd say as much so for Marilyn Monroe. It's more a wide range of traits about a girl being either fun flirty and ditzy, or huge and busty + upbeat. There's no exact definition or ideal bimbo, I love the mental aspects as much as the physical ones.
For example you can have a shy "nerdy" girl, who when she tries to socialize actually comes off as spacy, innocent and kind of cute in that bimboish way. Her personality at heart is similar to a bimbo and makes her one, despite her look. That one chick from the anime HxH, Shizuku comes to mind.
On the other hand you could also have a huge well endowed, thick and extremely busty woman with lots of makeup and sexual appeal, but she's smart and mature with a kinda fun personality. The body is what makes her bimbodom.
Of course it's good to have both traits too...
But if you have too many of both traits to where the character is just whorish and brain-dead, becoming about pure sex, to me that doesn't make a bimbo. It's more of a slut/ghetto fetish than, like Ganguro. I don't mind that, or even if it's actually grouped in with Bimbos or not, it gets me up the same but the reasons and kinks are different. I like bimbos for emphasizing their innocence, such as the idol-one you posted and the other category purely for over sexualization. It's not that I like one over the other, I just like them for different reasons. It's hard to explain because I cannot exactly clarify those reasons.
