He has excuses and issues, but I just think he's a lazy fuck for not improving on his basic foundations, like gesture and anatomy. You can appreciate what he does well, there is no issue with that, but as far as artists go he isn't worth his fanbase.

I've seen one-colour line sketches done in ten minutes that I think are better than most of his work from an artistic point of view. He doesn't put effort in.

Usually you draw stuff better when you are passionate about it, but that's beside the point. It's not the effort, it's the glaring mistakes. Stuff like "that is not what a butt is shaped like" and "thats not where the leg starts on a human body".
I get artistic licence and that it could possibly be uncanny valley on purpose (doubt it), but I think it's a stupid decision to not put effort into improving (that said, he's already gotten successful through content, so he doesnt really need to improve to be popular)
