I've been running a pornographic drawthread on tgchan for about a week now. I've learned a lot of things about art and story telling in the process, though my audience consists of about five anons who mostly post while I'm at work or asleep. Also it makes me uncomfortable to be in such close proximity to furries. That site earns its reputation for being weird.
So, I would like to start a draw quest here on /aco/, but I want to know if there's interest in such a thing. I provide better than average OC with decent writing and a reliable posting schedule. Is there an audience for lewd quest threads with graphic art?

You know those choose your own adventure books from when you were a kid? Or point and click adventure games on the PC? The OP presents information, usually in first or second person, and anons provide input and suggestions as to what the quest protagonist ought to do or say. Then the OP provides the result. I like to provide both text and images for each post. It's a lot of fun if done right.

I did it for a reason, OP. I see the potential value of what you attempted here and thought I might attempt some more constructive dialogue. Possibly this will eventually result in some interesting content on /aco/.
The first comment I'm going to make here is that some anons jumped on this thread with frustration and hostility. Given the 4chan ecosystem and the general social maladjustment of many of its denizens, this is pretty expected and normal behavior around here.
Doesn't mean it's right, just a statement of fact. If you're going to play on 4chan, better expect that shit.
Related to that comment, OP, you demonstrated a pretty thin skin. For someone who wants to be a public artist with interaction with fanbase and the public in general, suggest you calm your titties down a bit. If you can't handle this sort of banter on the internet, you might reconsider your strategy of publishing your art & stories. You aren't prepared for the brutality of handling criticism, warranted or unwarranted.
Focus a bit more on de-escalating hostile exchanges instead of escalating the. Just some friendly advices. I'll bump back later with one or two more comments and see where this goes ... if foe no other reason than to help keep /aco/ a little less cluttered with idiotic shit threads and keep a few more alive with constructive conversations & content.
BTW, when I saw Draw Quest in your subject, I understood exactly what the thread was. Just because some other retards didn't is no reason to sperge out.

A legitimate concern about what you propose is shitting the board up with useless and lame threads. You didn't really make an effort to explain how what you propose will not do that. /aco/ is brand new & in growing pains, while the community is bickering amongst itself over what futa is and if there are enough diaper threads. Etc.
Now you propose something new that most are unfamiliar with, and no clues how to find out. Google yields confusing results, and we don't all automatically know every board culture. Many of us have no wish to know some of the board cultures here.

So, mistakes made. We could all get over it if we see the value of Draw Quest threads. I see potential good and bad. Convince us one way or another. How is this different & of value compared to DrawFag threads, for example?
Let's get it written up, start a Draw Quest General /DQG/ thread and maybe post a clear guide into pastebin.com or something. Rules should be general so any & all can play to the benefit of all.
