It's advantages would likely trend more toward heavy low-absorbance refractory armor and/or a Lazaford Field with the energy supply for energy weapons on a TSF-mobility platform rather than a super-high maneuverability TSF.
This would mean you'd probably be better off training a TSA pilot to operate it, or at least a MAN OF DESTINY like Walken.

You want to get them into the sunlight, surrounded by other people who have learned to embrace their second chance at life. I can't really tell; I only ever saw it in reference to having been developed in tandem with the XG-70. We don't even know for sure if it actually had the same Moorcock-Lechte Drive as the Valkyrie; I base the assumption that it did on the real life use of the same engine and the fact that it was intended to operate alongside the XG-70. Considering how the Type-00 did trying that, it seems like it wold be necessity.
It should be noted that the Rapier never even got as far as the Valkyrie in real-life; the XB-70 at least flew before ICBMs killed both of them.
