Uh anon the best part of berserk was the tower of conviction.
Although everything from the black swordsman arc to the conviction arc was pure fucking gold. Everything after is still pretty great but I feel like the manga reached its peak once griffith was resurrected.

Tower of Conviction was pretty great. Berserk is a great package overall.
Golden Age arc though is like the manga equivalent of a Renaissance Era tragedy that builds up until it explodes at the end, and that really stuck with me I guess.
I think the rampant hiatuses are definitely evidence to support that Miura is getting tired of it though.
