I never judge the art or listen to what /a/ sais. Just look at the premise and genre.
Shonen/Shoujo -> Don't bother.
Harem -> Don't bother.
School -> Don't bother.
Comedy -> Don't bother.
SoL -> Don't bother if goes along with the above.
After filtering you're left with ~5 shows. After looking at the premise and promotional art decide if it's worthy and if it is, only then apply 3 episode rule.
And sadly thus leaves you with 0-2 anime per season.
I'm not saying don't watch anything else just don't take seriously and forget about it when you're done.

Boku No Hero Acedemia is exactly what I expected, Sticks true, decent but not amazing animation, gonna finish it because its short, hopefully they do more than a 1 frame fight scene

That's a pointless question to ask because everyone has different tastes. Every single season, you will always have people who say that the current season is garbage, and that there's nothing to watch.
I agree that there's barely anything that interests me this season, which is pretty rare actually, but there are other seasons where I think there's a ton of enjoyable shows airing, but other people will claim the season is fucking shit, worst one ever, etc.
This is the first season in years where I'm picking up less than 5 shows, very rare occurrence, but there are others who think this is the greatest season in the past decade. It's all just personal preference.

that shit makes me want to cry, man. I've never seen an anime that was so beautifully littered with raw emotion. these past two episodes I have found myself struggling to hold back the tears while simultaneously chuckling at one of All Might's perfectly executed lines.
Yellow's stuff that I'm either watching but thinking about dropping or not watching but interested in picking up.
Bungou would be green but it's far too similar to Kekkai Sensen which turned out to be a utter shitfest.
Kuromukuro was much better than I was expecting too - especially the female MC having a lot of personality.
