Ohio is really underrated. It's got a lot of natural beauty, only two shitty months the whole year, has a great music and art scene, my liberal and conservative friends get along really well, and I know tons of smart and interesting people around here. Also a good anime and videogame scene, with plenty of underground and retro fans. Yet it's casual in a good way; nobody gives me shit for liking nerdy things, because everyone here likes something nerdy.
It's a great place to grow up and settle down. But after college you're really better off travelling a while or moving to a different city until you've made a career for yourself. Come back and settle down a few years later.
Also, my hometown Dublin has a 20% Asian population. So, so many qt Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Filipina girls. Also tons of other foreigners. It's multiculturalism done right imo. That is to say, it's not in your face like other places.
So, fuck yeah, Ohio thread. But how can we make this more /a/ related?

It's not terrible. They're lovely people. Although I will say that downtown Columbus is full of the worst bottom feeding trash. And all the trash is white and black. Surprisingly few Latino trash. Everyone else is wonderful.
Dublin is so clean and pretty. The Honda factory brings in tons of Japanese, so naturally our city is very well taken care of. It's downright beautiful taking a walk where I live. Can I blog some more?

Read up to my post about Dublin, Ohio. Clean, beautiful, full of hot Asian women, amazing schools (Dublin Scioto HS' art program is college level. The drawing/painting teacher is a football coach, but draws with photorealistic perfection), and an excellent art and music scene on campus.
There's plenty of shitty cities here, yeah, but our best cities are world class.
