4 volumes aren't much. Most anime need around 4 episodes to adapt 1 volume, some even less. And since the manga is done it wouldn't make any sense to not adjust the pacing in a way that you can fit in everything and give the anime a proper closure.
The worst case would be that they rush some things or skip a chapter in the middle or something.
