There's pretty much unanimous consensus among scholars that Fate/stay night is a eastern masterpiece... One of the very few that stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Citizen Kane or Lawrence of Arabia.
Don't you see that the "story" is secondary to the "experience". Go watch Nickelodeon for "stories". Fate is something more than that. It's an entire living, breathing world. And it poetically mirrors the horrors in our world, our Fuyuki: America.
