The 15th anniversary of Digimon Tamers is coming this summer, and I'm pretty sure Bandai will announce *something* related, even if it's just a V-pet. Allow me to dream biggest for a moment.
We know they're seriously considering making new Tamers merchandise. We know the target audience for Digimon is now mostly adults. We know Cyber Sleuth received relative critical acclaim and moderate commercial success.
The date of this hypothetical announcement is only halfway through Tri so a new anime can't happen, but it is well after the release of Next 0rder.
A video game adaptation of Digimon Adventure was made for its 15th anniversary. It's possible there are plans to do the same with Tamers in light of recent hype for Digimon video games.

Its not unexplained faggots, Angewomon is Perfect level and Tailmon is already Adult in her base state unlike the others. The children sacrificed the power of their crests to create some sort of seal on the Digital World because reasons and lost their ability to evolve past Adult except in certain circumstances like a fragment of "Light" in the dark ocean hitting Tailmon or the special miracle realm where they fought Belialvamdemon.
Evolving at all is supposed to be a big deal in the digital world we just got spoiled by plot powers.
