I must admit, this does confuse me about DBS/Resurrection F. I know Toriyama is a hack, but when did Roshi get relevant again? He'd have barely been able to take out a Saibaman, let alone dozens upon dozens of Frieza's goons. It was like they picked the group of fighters for Resurrection F at pure random

Like, Gohan and Piccolo I get. But why did 18 put up with Krillin's shit, when he'd have been just as capable of looking after their daughter and she's a better fighter? For that matter, I know 17 wanted to go off and live a quiet life but you'd think he'd show up in high danger situations that threaten the planet. They should've just ki blasted Mr. Buu awake so he could help out, or wafted some delicious food smell under his nose.

I remember watching catching DB as a kid and watching all of DBZ live.
