Definitely finish it because it's truly a unique and cool take on the cyberpunk genre.

I know what they were trying to do it was just fucking stupid, basically all the suicidal and crazy people decide to merge with the virus in order to ejaculate into the solar system in hope to create another universe. The manga never really states if its a success or not just that the antagonist manages to activate it but considering the people who decided to go along with it were already far off it doesn't matter so they would have died regardless.

Its not and no it wasn't that he was right at all, he was the equivalent of a televangelist where he made promises to people who were on the verge of killing themselves, the manga actually proves this by showing characters not being swayed by the prospect and wanting to live their lives rather than trying to escape it and the MC's dad calls the antagonist out on his bullshit as well.

People are more highly critical of bad manga than good manga hence it's easily to point out the flaws of a bad work than a good because with the former you can point out what went wrong and how the author could of fixed it while with the latter you don't have much critique to offer. It's actually pretty easy to get through Eden without feeling bad. You just have to not get attached to ANY character of the series.

I actually thought it was pretty cool that a nip writer had there MC actually develop a drug addiction in a realistic way.
Whenever a character has a drug addiction in most manga all they need is a hug.
