Chances are this is just a troll thread, but Fate Zero is a prequel. There is no sequel, and if you go into Fate Stay Night anything expecting a sequel to F/Z (whatever the fuck a sequel to F/Z would even mean) you'll never get one. This is one of the reasons why people say you should start with Fate Stay Night first (the visual novels, not the anime).
Regardless, as far as what I think of it, the anime is a fuck ton better than the garbage LNs, the characters aren't as good as the ones in FSN, but are still passable, and Kirei and Saber are shit compared to their FSN counterparts. Kiritsugu also isn't as interesting as Shirou since his magic is more boring comparatively and their otherwise the exact same character, with Kiritsugu being more childish due to his wish being even more retarded.
As far as favorite servant goes, Rider. It's not like there's any other option when all the other F/Z servants suck.

Soichirou Kuzuki was a trained Killer. His martial arts are deliberately confusing and hard to counter. It's been said that even Kotomine and Bazett would potentially lose of they have no prior information or experience fighting him. He's a trained and hardened warrior who was being buffed by Medea's powers. Unexpectedly strong.

Not really something exceptional, but better then Fate/SN as an actual story about the war for the Holy Grail between actual worthy competitors instead of story of Shirou being Shirou for one of the girls with the rest of the stuff being pretty much a background.
And then there's Kiritsugu, Iri, Raider, Lancelot and other characters.
Iskander's my favorite. Just for his attitude towards everyone.
On the other hand, Berserker Lancelot wins in both looks and abilities.

Kiritsugu is not limited to one thing, unlike Shirou, and actually performs some fancy stuff instead of spawning weapons and trying to overpower his opponent.
Also, if Shirou uses his beliefs as the base for his decisions while focusing more on people around him (either admitting it or not) and kinda being more of a normal person this way, Kiritsugu denies himself everything but his belief, viewing himself as sort of a machine for a wish he can't even fully comprehend.

Arturia believes it's her fault but eventually realizes that she's better than that. She had traitors plotting from the start. Over half her mistakes were because others fucked up.

More like it's because Gen Orobuchi specifically wrote it to make Saber suffer for Fate/Zero. Even Lancelot said: even though other kings may regard her to not be fit for a king, all of her retainers believe she is the best of them all. Saber was too good to be a king, that's why she couldn't perfectly be one.

Basically, she's forced to job as much as literally every servant is forced to job in F/SN. Her two "defeats" in Zero are a single nick on the wrist and Lancelot.

Artoria's defense of the kingdom was the "sacrifice short term to gain long term" sort of strategy. She would allow weak, indefensible villages to fall so that the enemies would break against her fortresses and rallied armies.
Bleeding heart knights who wanted to save everyone and fight every single battle no matter how hopeless disapproved of this behavior.
They were basically like Shirou except Shirou has the mentality of "if you fail, move on and try to do better next time" instead of "if you fail, flip the table and whine like a bitch".

I have reread Fate a few days ago and I don't think she even done this - she just took all resources from a few villages to support an army in order to attack an enemy territory to save not only those, but many more villages. And all wars have ended when they betrayed her. This really baffles me.

Shit really started getting bad due to a few others. Galahad's Grail Quest killed off some Knights and so did Lancelot and Gawain's spat. This loss of both manpower and shit created a great opportunity for someone else to take over.

As to why they betrayed her? It's because Saber's actions seemed inhuman and incomprehensible to the people who could not keep up with her perfection, so the people grew distant, and when Lancelot caused his rebellion, Mordred used it as an opportunity to start a rebellion since "King Arthur couldn't understand his people" and all that.

Overall the best thing Urobuchi has written. The ending had to be sort of a non-ending, since it was a prequel. But I think the main characters all had satisfactory resolutions. Particularly Saber and Berserker.

I can't believe they cucked us out of a fight between Saber and Archer. I didn't really like any of the characters other than Weaver and Berserker so I was okay with the everyone loses ending.
