My opinion of Othinus has nothing to do with waifufagging or shipping. I could care less if you like Othinus the best. I don't care about Touma's love life, either. The only thing I could say I feel about Touma's love life is that Misaka god awful match for him and if she wins, it's 100% because Kamachi forced it.
That being said, Othinus needs punishment or redemption to sit right with me. To me, Touma and Othinus is the equivalent of Harry deciding to save Voldemort and keep him around as a best buddy without Voldemort paying for his crimes or earning reemption. Touma is my least favorite protagonist, but I can understand why people ship their favorite girls if their girls have shipping flags with him.
