VN's were awesome.

On the other hand, the anime was rushed, there's no way to like the characters that way.

And Yumiko's ALLAH ACKBAR ALLAH ACKBAR ALLAH ACKBAR anime's original ending was both hilarious and painful to watch.

TL;DR the anime is an insult to the original game.
