Current, XY and XY&Z. Basically the only shit worth watching since the original series.
A lot of people debating if this will be the last season with Satoshi as the protag because of how it's been setup. He's actually good, and everything seems to be building to him winning the league. Plus the female lead is actually honest to god in love with him, and it's like a big part of the show. So people are talking like he's gonna win the thing and sorta settle down with main girl. It won't actually happen, but it's fun to talk about.
Also the writing, direction, and animation have just been a cut above any previous season. Especially the first episode of XY&Z, it was like watching an anime movie.

Thanks for reminding me not to watch Pokemon at all then, Kanto was easily a 2/10.
In my case:
i enjoyed pokemon until they got to hoenn. maybe its because they fking showed that season so many times, but after that, i rarely watched it. BW hadnt even one episode in my watchlist. then i took a look into XY.
And damn i got hyped again. it wasn annoying, i wasnt always the same. it was just fking FUN. Maybe its because benny, the annoying food fucker was gone. or because Max, that annoying brat was gone.
But since then, i guess it was the tripokalon episode where eevee failed, i love the anime again.
XY&Z made it evn better. That Opening. the animation. 'Ash bein a total badas and he has fking FANS.
I cant wait for more.

I kind of agree, but the thing is XY trumps DP a lot more than the other way around, so it can't really be called a tie.
Also I still find it funny that XY has constantly been a better anime than at least half of the seasonal animes these past years.
