Croquettes are really good, haven't tried Japanese ones but I always get them when I go to Europe. As for mochi, it was alright, not wonderful like Tamako made it out to be but I would eat it again just not something I would immediately go out and seek but if I hadn't had it in a while I would get it. Basically just like a less compact marshmallow rolled into a ball. Similar texture too.

Mochi worries me though, it seems like anime characters are always choking on it.
Mapo doufu - very good but a bit too spicy for me at that time.
Melonpan - despite the shit quality it was pretty fucking おいしい. Would be better if I had some freshly baked from a real bakery though.

Try Ramen in a decent actual Ramen Bar and you don't want to touch disgusting instant shit again. The difference in taste is just incredible.

Only instant ramen I like are Nong Shim since the quality is a lot better than the instant noodles we get here in the UK. Lot more variety for the price too. I've heard the consistency is a lot different compared to an actual ramen cooked in a restaurant.

I need to take a trip to Japan. All we have in Texas is Mexican food. I'm tired of fucking Mexicans and their food I don't want anymore Menudo, puffy tacos, Chorizo and egg breakfast tacos, or any more fucking tacos. I'm done with tacos I just want some Spicy ramen.
I've cooked napolitan and tempura a couple of times.
Shrimp tempura is way overrated, but I suppose if you get quality ones and actually like them it can be pretty good.
Vegetable tempura is fucking delicious, even cooked by a newbie like me. I particularly recommend carrots.
Napolitan is also quite good, it has basically all you could ask for in a dish unless you're a fag who enjoys refined shit.
