its not my favorite but it is something old ive rewatched recently and am entertained. its hilarious how different the values were in the 80s/90s. theres an ep where they catch train molesters while trying to catch a pickpocket and its played off like lol molesters arent real criminals. the real criminals commit traffic violations. Madoka and NGE are both great, but for entirely disparate reasons. What they have in common is that they are both anime, they both have excellent visual aesthetic, and they both did what they set out to do very well.
