No it doesn't, just look at the character sheets we keep getting for the NWers, all we get are their "classes" which are pretty much titles given to them by other people or their are just their job/profession and we're not even given levels or stats. The only people that really follow an RPG system are the players since they're still bound by the Yggdrasil system to an extent.

The Ygg transfers seem to be ported over in bodies which correspond to their game avatars, complete with gear restrictions, though apparently anything that was not explicitly forbidden carried over (the R-18 restriction was more of not coding the content and letting biology/common sense fill the gap, rather than flagging it as forbidden, apparently).
