Reading/waiting for Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu. I had dropped it twice during the first fifteen chapters over the past year, but I finally managed to get past that point and am shocked over how good it becomes. Basically your standard jackass reincarnated into a the harem MC of a game and decided keeping his imouto alive when their father decided to throw her off a cliff wasn't that important because she wasn't anything special in the game.
The imouto is not amused, survives, gets picked up by the enemy (demons) and it turns out that her powers are a thousand times more useful against humans than demons. Then she ends up (accidentally) brutally slaughtering her way through the male reincarnated's entire harem.

Another one of those death by truck memory intact reincarnation WN -> LN stories. Girl was fairly talented on Earth and caused some family problems so she asked the interim god to make her average in the next life. Out of probable pity at her not choosing a cheat to help her get by, she does get what she asked for but it's not average in the mode sense but average in the median/mean sense. Instead of being born a regular old village girl she gets born into a middling noble family and has half the strength and magic capability of the world's strongest monsters. The world she's in is actually super advanced and runs on nanomachines but due to cultural decline and stagnant innovations from their magic it's functionally your regular old RPG world where she has middleground administrative access to the world's nanomachines which of course is of a higher level than any human before her.
Picked it up on my last book run because of the all 5 star reviews it had at the time as well as the description notes of it ranking highly in the syosetsu site thing but quite honestly I'm just not seeing any aspect stronger than a 3 so far. I've got another 60 or so pages to go but outside a few amusing jokes it doesn't have much going for it. The protagonist is a dull airhead with a few mary sue tendencies so the story reads more like a chronicle of the effect she has on her surroundings but the material isn't the least bit engaging. It'd be tolerable as a 4koma(it's getting manga soon btw) but it reads really average as a LN.
Read something with a similar enough setup months back called the Reincarnated Girl's Resume which did everything so much better that you could use the two series to illustrate what makes a story interesting.
