I think Mikumo must have lost her memory/programming when the windy ruins were destroyed. Perhaps she was inside it. We already know she's very resistant to damage. So, she could have survived if she was somehow encased in it.
There was a line in the last episode, of her noticing how enlivened the sky in her dream was. That was probably the windy temple, and that's the sky the windies are always claiming to have lost 7 years ago.

Well, I do hope he is more forward with her. I have a feeling that it's not going to last though. 13 was end-of-cour. And 14 was kind of a do-nothing filler episode. Next episode is Windy-exclusive. And maybe they'll need more action, so I'm not sure when the next idle moment for them will be. Probably action will lead to a moment for each of them independently. Though since it is called "Hesitant Birthday" I'm leaning more towards the Freyja department getting to shine. This episode will probably highlight the fact that even though she likes Hayate, hers and his lifespans could pose a bit of a problem. I mean. I don't get the whole role reversing thing though? Roles as in position in Walkure? Because if that's the case, it's already been established in episode 5 that Freyja joined Mikumo as Walkure's ace. They share the spot equally, which is why they both have equal amounts of lines for Walkure songs.
If it a mentor/student figure, that still wouldn't make sense. I just can't see Freyja mentoring anybody, especially this early. The only thing I can see happening is Mikumo faltering in the production of fold waves, because her dreams or subconscious memories are altering her reason for singing.

Nah. Freyja's not the kind of person to drift from someone. Also, she would never force her opinions on "What's bestbest for you" on Hayate. Just like she's a very free willed individual, she encouraged and inspired Hayate to take reign of his own life. If anything, she'd just be like "OK I like him and if it happens, it happens and if it doesn't, it doesn't". The rest would be up to Hayate to decide.
