Guys, what if Satella the Witch didn't exist in the first timeline and elves were bullied for a whole other reason? What if Subaru had actually cast a curse before his first death that created a time paradox where he jumped from the original timeline to a timeline where Satella was created? That could explain why Emilia's name changed from Satella to Emilia as the name is now taboo.
