Who was in the wrong here?

間違いなんかじゃない
>>143908892
Both of them.
>>143908892
both of them.
The minority
>>143908892
Both.
Archer was betting on a infinitesimal chance to delete the future because of his mistakes and then tried to forcefully make Shirou realize he was wrong instead of trying to teach him.
Shirou is a fucking blockhead that admits that even though he might be wrong he will just do what he think he has to do without actually putting any thought into it.
The true victim here is Rin, because she has to wait until Shirou decides to stop being Archer to start a proper life with him.
>>143909068
No, the real victim is the reader, who has gone through this shit hoping he'll find some good since its so acclaimed, but its actually all shit, and watching a potentially great female character being ruined by making her a generic harem bitch and not making her the mc
Gilgamesh.
>>143908892
Both. Because without a wrong, there can not be a right. They're just more right than wrong. Nothing wrong with that. Although EMIYA has one of the dumbest ideals, I've ever heard. He's more direct approach than indirect. It's fucking stupid. kill one and save a thousand is the dumbest shit ever. It's only a thousand people. Who fucking cares? There's seven fucking billion people in the world, Shirou. You should be indirectly helping the majority, not the majority in front of your eyes. Fucking dumb as fuck. Guy is a fake hero.
>>143908892
Neither, both of their opinions are legitimate arguments for the situation.
>>143908892
There is no right or wrong.

Emiya Shirou
When Archer said "I wasn't wrong" at the end, was he talking about his methods of trying to kill his past self or did he mean that he made peace with his choice of becoming a seigi?
>>143909921
latter

お前の正しさは、ただ正しいだけのものだ。
>>143908892
Both, one was wrong the other incorrect.
>>143910067
Just because he was incorrect doesn't mean he was wrong.
>>143908892
There was no right. It was four episodes of a moron talking at himself about how he's wrong, until he reached the conclusion that he was never wrong to begin with.
>>143910178
To be fair, we do that all the time, just you know, with no one watching.
>>143908892
Emiya Shirou
Why do people even try to make sense of this drivel. It amazes me that shit like this can be spun and /a/ is literally too stupid to understand that shitty writing is entirely separate from depth.
>>143908892
>>143909068
Frankly, I think Archer was just trying to throw a temper tantrum. Think about it: If he was serious about killing Shirou, he'd have murdered him on the first day. Just say "Hey Rin, I'm going to scout the place." and blow his enter house up.
But Archer seems to know, on some level, that this isn't going work. All he'll do is to kill *this* world's Shirou.
>>143910040
ランサー、自害しろ。
>>143908892
No one was wrong. Shirou believed that as long as he saves people, he would get a different ending than EMIYA, which was possible. While EMIYA believed that whatever Shirou does, he'll end up like him in the end.

So Archer is stuck killing for the rest of eternity while Shirou is making out with Rin on top of Saber's grave?

Herc is best boy you you know it so don't even try and argue!

>Shirou believed that as long as he saves people, he would get a different ending than EMIYA
What? No he didn't, he accepted saving everyone was impossible but still does it anyways finding the act itself beautiful, meaning he won't fall into despair this time when he inevitably fails.
>>143908892
The one who failed to protect Ilya obviously
The Archer that is Shirou that is wrong
>>143908892
The whole message of the fight is to believe in what you want to believe in anyways, regardless of what others think.
