to be honest the original fullmetal alchemist was pretty great. even the maker of the manga was impressed with what they did after they went beyond where the manga was at the time and incorporated a lot of ideas into what would end up being brotherhood.
The shitty 3d may be janky and terrible, but at least it makes onion-Puck in movement look exactly as I'd imagine.
