So anyone have any predictions of what this 13 episode route is going to be? Moon, gil & pani, kagari, krivoy rog, all these things in episode one I don't know where they're going with this. I've heard its going to be original, but any ideas?

It's an adaptation of a Key VN, dumbass.

Why can't 45 minute episodes be a thing in anime outside of first episodes? This was probably my favorite first episode this season so far; even though much of it was basic VN cliches, the amount of content and its pacing was infinitely better than your average opening episode with an hour's worth of exposition squeezed into a 20-minute slot. As shit as Western TV is, at least it understands that 20 minute episodes don't make any sense for anything outside of comedy.
