The first third of the original SEED was decent and Destiny had a pretty good start but went to shit quite quickly. It has good mech design for the most part and Rau and the big bad from Destiny are good characters.

I adore Shirow Miwa's art and character designs but none of the shows or manga he's done the art for have been any good
