I think this arc is going to be "Find the Traitor". Having each class get their own dorm and each student getting their own room is to help narrow down the possible suspects.
From a narrative perspective, once each student was shown to be getting their own room, there was no need to lay out where exactly each student's room is in the dorm. UNLESS it's going to become relevant shortly.
The traitor is also probably going to have something in their room that points to them.

no good bone-cruncher combat arc where more than like 2 fucking people get a proper goddamn fight (basically, no Enies Lobby/Chimera Ant/Soul Society level arc- sometimes I like some shounen battle in my shounen battle manga). I notice this is kind of a trend in Hori's works; I think he lacks confidence in his ability to do a quality fight that last more than 2-3 chapters that ISN'T some sort of climatic final battle like All Might vs AFO.
His framing/timing of some scenes is odd. Like if the lodge attack ever gets animated there's an insane amount of stuff from the manga that amounts to people literally doing jack shit while the story progresses. You can see this in the adaptation of USJ in this first season because they almost HAD to insert some of the other kids in action and really elaborate on All Might vs Jacked Noumu because if you did it panel for panel goddamn near nothing would happen on screen. The lodge attack while a great arc is really bad about this- villains job off panel, you see the insanely cool chainsaw noumu for like all of 4-5 pages across the whole arc and he does literally nothing in-panel.
Borderline zero consequences for what characters do. The people who've suffered the most are All Might and Aizawa. Deku has scars and ominous warnings but he's not gonna lose his arms.
