It's canonically valid, on pure technicality. But, it's got terrible flow in terms of writing and plot progression.
All that said, I can't help but feel that Kubo PURPOSEFULLY made Tsukishima as a way out for him, in the rare case that Shounen Jump decided to axe Bleach and he had a very short chapter count before the manga ended. It's basically a get out of a jail card for him, that he probably hoped to never use--but was there if he absolutely needed to.
And since the manga is to supposedly end within the span of the next five chapters, Tsukishima's ability allows him to effectively "undo" the hole he is in as well as the hammer that's coming down from Jump.
This way, he can bypass the chapter count he would otherwise need to normally "fix" Ichigo's powers and simultaneously leverage Orihime's broken as fuck powers, to "fix" Ichigo's bankai and restore Zangetsu.

Kubo said that this would be the 4th and longest arc, (he considers everything until Ichigo goes back to the living after rescuing rukia as one arc) and so far this one has run for 200 chapters.
The first arc was 182 chapters, the next arc was about 240 chapters. The one after that was pretty short, less than 100.
So this will end not quite as long as the aizen arc, but pretty close. Kubo probably planned on ending it in December and the editors told him to tie it up in august.

At least when Naruto was in its climax, while it was dragging and bored me, it didn't make me worry of its end, I actually believed it would have a satisfying ending that is worth following through its final showdown, which it did. People might argue that the ending has hanging plot threads but the ending still gives off the vibe of that is how the story was suppose to end, how the author wanted it. The climax of Naruto felt genuine and whole.
This climax of Bleach is the opposite of it. It's giving me anxiety. I legit don't have a good feeling about this.

Ywach can only negate the future if and when his almighty is active. Case in point Ichibei's fight. Ywach was getting his shit kicked in by Ichibei. He wasn't dieing, but he was in no way advancing. However, the exact moment the Almighty was regained, was the very point in time where everything thereafter no longer posed a threat to him.
That is until he went to sleep again for a brief period in time. Then Ichigo shows up, and they have their confrontation. Again, during this period, his Almighty is dormant. The battle takes place and he admits that Ichigo is far too great a threat for him, that he no longer has any room for error; so he then activates Almighty and BTFO's all possible futures where Ichigo is a threat for him.
Along comes facebook and negates this future, by creating a retroactive continuity. In doing so, Ichigo's new bankai can now have the event where it broke (how no longer being relevant), be rejected by Orihime's powers.
With this new retroactive continuity, Ichigo now can face Ywach again--and this time the Almighty cannot affect him. In this new continuity, because Orihime rejected the EVENT. And this word is important, because in all futures moving forward, the EVENT itself has been permanently REJECTED.
In other words, Ichigo's bankai cannot be broken by Ywach. This makes them even in terms of power, and now it's a straight no bullshit fight.

Im taking a wild guess that Yhwach 'weakness' is the ability to see each possible future after using some sort of checkpoint, which he cant change, or, has some sort of cooldown. Meaning, he cant see every possible future at all times. He can see all the possible futures that happen after his checkpoint, new events outside his futures can take place because KUBO and he wouldnt be able to refresh his view on the possible futures to see said new events. If he could, he would have seen FB actions and intentions, but apparently he didnt. FB changed the past, a point outside Yhwach checkpoint, and therefore created a new timeline in which Yhwach's powers cant intervene. As said before, Yhwach cant put another checkpoint in FB timeline to see all the futures again for some reason unknown to us yet. Pic related.

All the Almighty allows him to do, is align futures where potential threats against him can be hard countered before they become critical.
Basically, the Almighty is a probability machine. It categorically reorganizes diverging timelines and forces them into more cohesive arrows. Instead of a trillion deviations per branch, you have a handful of deviations per branch. It then forces these handful deviations per branch into only several branches over the course of the timeline.
This, then allows Ywach to personally intervene in these categorically low counting events and hard counter any threat before it reaches it's maturity.
All that said, I think you're fundamentally misunderstanding what the Almighty is. He at no point in time loses his powers, as much as the Almighty is passively shared with another vessel. During the night, when Ywach sleeps, the Almighty is proxied to Haschwalt, while the King's body recovers from having to traverse different branching realities as he goes about hard countering any threats against him.
Haschwalt during this time, maintains the Balance by retaining the Almighty temporarily and protecting the King from any other local threats by leveraging the Almighty against them. Then, when the sun rises, the Almighty is recalled to the King and the cycle begins anew.
This is also, likely, a result of Ywach transferring power as a safeguard. Let's say for example that Haschwalt decided he's going to kill the body of the sleeping King. If this were to occur, because Haschwalt is a Quincy birthed from the Quincy line, Ywach's soul due to it's connection with the Almighty can now take over Haschwalt's body. This allows him to continue unabated with his plans, and using his own Quincy powers which are unparalleled, he can forge and reforge himself and his powers, to become himself once more. Haschwalt's body will change/morph/accomodate and become Ywach's look, voice, everything, again.

Because Ywach did not regain his Almighty power until he fought Ichibei for the second time.
Once the Almighty is active, it can only deal with FUTURE events that he, Ywach, directly interacts with.
Think about it another way. Take Shroedinger's cat. When you place it in the box and look at it, it's alive yes? Then when you close the lid, you, based on all prior facts, assume that's alive; but you can't witness it, and therefore have no conclusive proof that it's alive.
It could be alive, dead, or there could be nothing in the box. However, when you open the lid again, and witness the cat alive, then you can conclusively determine that yes, that is a cat and it is alive.
Same way with the Almighty. For Ywach to deal with Facebook, first he needs to be aware of Facebook. Second, he needs to interact with Facebook to deal with his powers. And third, the Almighty needs to be active to do this.

Either his powers are merely limited to memory alteration, in which case this upcoming chapter makes literally no sense and is the coppiest out of all time.

Tsukishima CAN rewrite history, in which case this makes the single most incompetent fighter in all of Bleach with regards to ability.
The second he cuts anyone, if they were seriously fighting to the death, they simply should have disappeared. Since he can literally rewrite history then clearly he put himself in some scene with his opponent as children and just crushed his head with a rock as they slept or something. Making them cease to exist in the present.
