Brook in like chapter 490 road in Straw Hat submarine, last chapter Brook says "This is the first time riding in one" even though it's his second time.
A small fucking mistake 400 chapters apart, and people are arguing whether the mistake is actually just a mistranslated because it is the first time he's piloting it, but the second time in it.
Another "Mistake" was when Sanji's brother was introduced he had a glove on, the next panel when he adjusted his goggles the glove is gone.
This could be a mistake, or simply he took the gloves off because they were the size of fucking boxing gloves but gauntlets to adjust his goggles.
Oda fixed the glove one, and probably will either fix the brook one or when official translations come out brook was simply saying the first time piloting.
Regardless they are small mistakes that barely happen with Oda, but it's also over 800 chapters and staying as consistent as Oda has is fucking amazing.
TL:DR Oda makes mistakes but makes the smallest mistakes and least mistakes out of most mangaka.

I don't think Zoro has ever been weaker than Thriller Bark Brooke. Even Shell's Town Zoro was probably stronger than Thriller Bark Brooke.

Probably a decent bit. Being stronger is not necessarily a big part of Brook's fighting though like it is for Luffy/Zoro. He has improved his skill and usage of abilities which makes him a more dangerous opponents as a whole. He may have got a bit stronger physically but it's not too big of a deal.

Not downshooting Brook, but Zoro was probably his level before the story began. Zoro was the best swordsman in EB and potentially all of the other blues.
That's only talking about a 1v1 swordfight though. Brook outskills Zoro with his speed and other abilties, so TB Brook would likely beat Zoro until perhaps Arlong Park
