the script for NGE was rewritten several times just to adapt to the changing budget due to the show shifting airtime
much of the symbolism in NGE only holds meaning in a certain narrative, but that narrative is gone as the script has been changed. This leads the viewer off track and creates an aura of mysticism as they only raise more questions
