It removes the unnecessary Rossiu coup.
It removes the unnecessary teleport to save Rossiu.
It removes the unnecessary deaths of the crew at the end.
It adds tons of new animation.
It mentions that Nia will die if the anti-spiral are defeated.
The final anti-spiral battle is much better than in the show.

One of the major points of the story is how Getter Rays can be harmful to the universe and how it will eventually lead to the creation of Getter Emperor, a being that will consume the universe while it keep evolving. Spiral Energy and its consequences is literally a rip-off of Getter Rays. Hell, in SRW Ryouma fires up a Getter Beam at Simon so he can power up their SGGL.
