American here, got hooked on it through Yojigen subbed stuff shortly before it was announced that the anime would shown on Disney XD. The dub was great, with excellent VA performances and all (vid related), despite the sometimes maddening edits in some episodes, most in the name of making it more "American", though that probably added another layer of humor to it, because it's still so very Japanese that no editing can hide it

Are there any subs of the various TV series floating around? I was hoping the Disney XD dub would renew some interest in regards to that, but everyone just kept telling me to watch the dub instead, which I had no interest in largely due to the Americanized names and setting. I'm not a fan of that and never will be. (I believe the official localization of the mange got the same treatment too)
I know people tend to to not give a single shit subbing about kids shows, but I'm hoping an exception can be made with Doraemon.
