Which do you think is worse?
The main girl winning solely because she's the main girl. Or a "open-ended" outcome where no girl wins.
Personally, I think the "open-ended" route is worse. The writer should at least have the balls to follow through with his uninspired and predictable choice.

I prefer for there to be a clear winner, although it's a shame that the majority of the time I don't like the mains girls who are usually the victors of such things. Can't think of a series off the top of my head where I think the main girl is best girl.
Makes me appreciate Ichigo 100% a whole lot more for doing what it did.
It would be pretty amazing if TLR actually goes through with a true harem end.

Open endings are the absolute worst, I get why they happen with unfinished LN/manga adaptions, but that doesn't make them much better.
I like harem endings. Its not like I'm watching harems for a complete romantic conclusion. I just like watching a whole bunch of girls undermining each other for a single dick.
Open ended love triangles are fun too. Usually tons of unenjoyable melodrama occur around MC choosing one and its just a pain to watch. I'd much rather have more focus on the plot and a "I'm not going to lose to you!" ending.

I generally just watch harems now to fap and trash talk the girls I don't like on here. They aren't any fun for me anymore. A huge part of the appeal for me was being under the delusional that all girls had a equal chance of hooking up with the MC.
