Its pretty good, not the best because a lot of it feels like filler even if may not be. Ryukos character gets a bit worse as the series progresses, but satsukis gets better to compensate.
Its a fun show with excelent waifus, fights, designs and animation.

I really wanted to like it. It was supposed to be a TTGL spiritual succesor, but I couldn't like it and dropped it by episode 12. I seriously tried though.
I figured out it was I who had grown up from the style, but I watched Gurren Lagann again later and still loved it.

The writing was too inconsistent and all over the place, it could have been great but in the end it was just OK overall.
Also, the fanbase is pure concentrated cancer, and the hipsters and contrarians shitposting because of the cancer fanbase doesn't make it any better..

It was great. Ending was a bit disappointing but a fun ride nonetheless. Watching it weekly with /a/ was a blast.
Almost all the problems I had with TTGL were gone, more interesting characters, more enjoyable episodes, and less asspulls.
However, the writing still went to shit in the second half, just like TTGL did.
