Otherwise, unless I'm missing something, you'd be talking either about individual episodes of a series (Onikakushi, Watanagashi, etc), or their bundles (question arc, answer arc), but they'd still be comparible with the non-adapted ones.

The only part of Chiru that wasn't total horseshit was EP7, since it actually focused on giving answers rather than insulting the audience while rambling about love.

Peach Pit wrote Ookami kakushi, Ryukishi only served as the main editor and project leader for the Visual Novel, but wasn't the main writer. Konami had a number of writers who produced the primary story. When asked if he liked the project, he responded by saying that getting to meet Peach Pit was the best part of the experience, so it seemed like he didn't enjoy working on it very much.
