I thought Naruto was still going? What the hell are those weekly threads I see in the catalog about?
I dropped all three years ago so maybe there were massive drops or increases in quality at some point after that. From what I saw, I thought that the Rescue Rukia arc or whatever it was called was better than anything in either Naruto or One Piece, but then after that arc it became pretty boring and the most forgettable of the three. One Piece was fun but felt sorta aimless in pace and narrative. Naruto had good OPs and EDs but that's about it really.

Another big 3 will essentially never happen again. With the advent of the internet, and the way streaming services are getting to the point of mainstream accessibility, it's almost impossible to funnel in so much audience on just a few shows. This isn't like before where only a few shows gained relevance and exposure because of the relative lack of material available for the masses.
The big 3 concept died a long time ago, this is just the bones finally decaying.
