The 1st timeline with the primary dbz story following the end of the cell games.
2nd timeline where trunks kills cell before he ambushes him and steals his time machine to go back in time.
3rd timeline where cell kills trunks and goes back in time which is intertwined with the above timelines.
4th unseen timeline where trunks deactivates androids in the present and future and cell never emerges.
How the fuck does the 4th happen? Why doesn't it just lead to the 3rd timeline repeating itself since that is what trunks attempted to do there but failed?

I understand that DB probably had less budget than Super and that Super is made in a time in which computers can make the job easier. But that doesn't mean that DB had better animation.
