i think they would be evenly matched but i think saitama would keep up with goku maybe neither of them would win but we have never seen one punch man use his power at full capacity so he could very well easily kill him
They both have plot armor and plot attack power. It really depends on who's writing it and which universe it takes place in.

No it's not.

Saitama he alters reality to fit his needs, he is basically powered by plot device.
Which is why he can hold his breath is space, breath on the moon, and can punch with enough force to do exactly what he needs to do.
That is also why he is bored nothing can challenge him and he hates it.
Nobody because Saitama is literally a joke character in his own manga that you aren't supposed to take seriously, thats the whole point of the manga.

Saitama serious mode best feat is stopping a country buster attack. DBZ characters in Cell Saga have survived planet buster attacks, and they're a lot stronger now compared to back then. It's not even close.
