The typical emotional process goes from being happy, to jaded, to brokenly jadded, to hoping for it to stop and then winning.

They're my labeling, so I can call it whatever the fuck I want. Comedic ones are fun and trageties always end up deaths. There doesn't seem to be a categorical distinction between groundhog loops such as Tatami Galaxy, Endless 8, etc and Higurashi, Madoka, S;G.
Just because this show has death does not mean that it is in the tragic section entirely. This is why I said it's somewhat in the middle. Subaru keeps looping until X stops happening but there is nothing large stopping him from never achieving this goal.
